1950s Propaganda Exposes How Polio Vaccine Was Made
In the 1950s, Jonas Salk's polio vaccine was produced using rhesus monkeys carrying SV40, a virus linked to human cancers like brain tumors and mesotheliomas.
The vaccine was contaminated with SV40, leading to its presence in millions of doses administered globally from 1955 to 1963.
This contamination inadvertently turned mass vaccination into a large-scale experiment in viral transmission across species.

What Polio Vaccine Injury Looks Like, Decades Later

Public health officials celebrate the role of vaccines in polio eradication, yet both Jonas Salk's IPV and the OPV by Koprowski and Sabin have paradoxically caused polio in some vaccinated individuals, with notable increases like a 642% surge in Massachusetts after IPV rollout.
Moreover, the OPV, distributed on sugar cubes, posed risks of causing paralytic polio and was associated with the cancer-linked SV40 virus.
